Ryan Knuth

Ryan Knuth joined 76design in September 2008 as a Web Developer & Quality Assurance Analyst. Since arriving, he has also been an integral part in launching the new 76design video department along with Mike Edgell and LeeEllen Carroll. Ryan’s focus is ensuring a high quality product for all of 76design’s clients.

Mr. Knuth’s responsibilities include creating and executing test plans for all web development work, assisting the development team when required, and producing, shooting, and editing video for 76design’s clients.

Over the past 8 years, Ryan has worked for a variety of companies in Television Broadcasting. Holding several positions within the industry enabled him to gain experience in all aspects of video broadcasting including producing, directing, camera operation, editing, audio production, lighting, graphics, and DVD production. Ryan’s portfolio includes news, sports, live events, and corporate video, most of which were seen nationally. In spring 2008 he graduated with Honours from Algonquin College with an Interactive Multimedia Developer Diploma. This added to his previously attained Diploma in Broadcasting Television and Video Production from Canadore College. His past training and work experience in Broadcasting, combined with his new skills and a critical eye, make him a great choice for the Quality Assurance position.

Clients that have benefited from Ryan’s role in Quality Assurance include Centennial College Student Association, Langevin Learning Services, CNW Group and Ottawa Hospital. With the 76design video department, Ryan has helped clients such as WSPA Canada, Ottawa Hospital and the City of Ottawa reach their audiences with video delivered via the web.
